Samurai’s piece of work now beacme tradational craft
This museum was built to promote the “Kabazaiku”-cherry bark work, when it was designated as national traditional craft work in 1978.  The building of the museum is a modern version of old Kakunodate architectural style.  Inside the museum, the actual crafting is demonstrated by professionals, and you can learn the process of the work.  Documents of crafts, culture, history are exhibited as well.  Also, there are shops and cafe, so you can relax while looking at the beautiful craft of Samurai.
