“Senshu” Art Museum




Akita Senshu Museum is loved by local people and visitors as a museum in the central city since 1989. There are exhibitions of paintings and ceramics by artists from and in Akita. Also, the museum holds various temporary exhibitions from different museums in Japan and the world. There are one more buildings for Kenzo Okada museum; a western style painter known as the combination of western art and traditional Japanese expression of beauty.
